Business Energy Awards Nominations For CMLS
CMLS is proud to have been shortlisted in three categories at the Business Energy Awards 2026, taking place in Dublin on Wednesday, 16 September.
The nominations recognise our continued investment in building a lower-carbon cold chain through energy efficiency, rooftop solar generation, refrigeration resilience and measurable operational improvements.
CMLS has been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Best Energy Excellence in Food, Agriculture & Consumer Products
- Innovation in Decarbonisation – Small
- Best Energy Achievement in Company Performance
Since 2022, CMLS has invested more than €1.5 million in energy, refrigeration and sustainability improvements. These include LED lighting, rooftop solar PV, rapid-rise cold-store doors and condenser replacement across our facilities.
Together, these initiatives have reduced our reliance on grid electricity, increased our use of renewable energy and strengthened the resilience of our temperature-controlled logistics operations. They also contributed to an 8.3% reduction in electricity consumption between 2024 and 2025.
Being shortlisted in three categories is a fantastic achievement for CMLS and a testament to everyone who has contributed to our energy and sustainability journey.
