Reporting to: Shift Supervisor/Warehouse Manager
Job Type: Full-time

This position will carry a 6-month probation period, based on performance review.
Warehouse Operative required for a company based in Oranmore, Co. Galway.
Morning & Evening Shift Work (Monday – Friday).

Start: Immediately
Contract: Permanent Position
Experience:1 Years + experience in busy Logistics warehouse
Job Duties:

  1. Internal movement of stock from loading bay to fridges or vice versa.
  2. Allocation of stock to correct storage racking.
  3. Picking of stock from storage racking for despatch or checking.
  4. Manually building stock to pallets or cages when required.
  5. Wrapping and unwrapping of pallets when required.
  6. Removing spacers between product and rebuilding pallets for despatch following blast freezing.
  7. Loading and unloading blast freezer with relevant equipment provided.
  8. Removing spacers between product and rebuilding pallets for despatch following blast freezing.
  9. To carry out equipment checks, daily / weekly in line with Health & Safety.
  10. Removing spacers between product and rebuilding pallets for despatch following blast freezing.
  11. Decanting of customer product when required.
  12. Ensure that all chamber doors are closed when appropriate.
  13. Maintain a high level of security at all times.
  14. Carry out instructions from shift supervisor or Manager in accordance with the needs of the business.
  15. Ensure that all relevant PPE is worn at all times, and to maintain a high level of personal hygiene at
    all times.
  16. Assisting in company stocktaking.
  17. Complete all relevant paperwork and record sheets in accordance with all SOP’s.
  18. General housekeeping in warehouse and yard.
  19. Participate in all relevant training when provided.
